He graduated from the University of Denver's Graduate School of Professional Psychology program with a master's degree in International Disaster Psychology: Trauma & Global Mental Health and am currently rounding out his doctorate in clinical psychology (PsyD).

Ernesto finds solace and meaning in the field of mental health and makes it his mission to aid individuals in finding the space to curate love for thenselves during their healing process and putting an understanding to what brought them to his office in the first place. Therapy is a journey of self-discovery, navigaing relationships, and internal growth. His hope is that through this special time, you are able to forge truth and peace into your narrative.

As a practicing therapist, he utilizes a blend of psychodynamic, client-centered, and object-relations therapy with his clients. In a nutshell, he focuses on your most meaningful relationships and earliest experiences as fundamental elements of your being and take them as an opportunity to learn about yourself. This includes our professional relationship together, for it is through relationships that we have come to understand the world and ourselves. Pain hides in the shadows of what is unconscious, and it is the work of pushing that into the conscious that opens us to an alternative world of possibilities.Â
